The Minority Can Shove It

So why is it that the great majority of people have to change what we do because of a small amount of people that complain.  And why is it that the when the changes take place that we don't ever want to contest them and make the minority feel like they are just complete idiots.  Here is a perfect example.  Many school districts across the country have taken the pledge of allegiance out of the morning routine because it says under God and some people don't believe in God.  Here is the bottom line, "God" is a title for a supreme being that someone believes in.  There are many types of God's, but regardless your religion you believe in a supreme being.  So why is it so bad to say "under God" in the pledge of allegiance and why does that offend people.  Those that choose to be atheist can stand and not say the pledge.  Easy as that.  But for those that still believe in some supreme being and want to remember how our country was won and where the pledge came from we should be able to still stand and say it on a daily basis.  Why do we pull it from our schools because people are offended?  After all this is America.  If you lived in China, you would be forced to do what they say and that is that.  So really, stand your ass up and say the pledge, show your pride for the country that allows you to be who you want to be.  And when the word "God" is said, think of your supreme being and what you believe in.  Don't be a pussy and let those that are just ass holes win.

More Broken Personal Promises?

For most people, New Years Eve comes with making new New Years resolutions.  For most these resolutions only last for about a month or two if lucky and then they are done.  Why is it that they never last?  Do we make them to hard?  Do we make them unrealistic?  Or do we just give up?  Which ever it is, I urge all of us to actually make resolutions that will be something that we can do for a full year.  It could be as simple as making sure that you don't sleep in all day, or that you pick up after your kids in public places.  Other's have work out goals, make them realistic.  Don't say I'll lose "X" amount of pounds, just say that you will work out 5 days a week.  It's inevitable that if you are working out that you will lose weight.  All I'm saying to everyone is make goals that you can achieve and stick with and everyone will have a great year.  Hope you make your New Years a great one.

So This Is Christmas?

Christmas, the biggest holiday for most people of the year.  Oddly I just said year and years are something that keep coming without fail.  So why is it that every year, on the 23rd and 24th of December people decide to start shopping for Christmas.  That is just a bunch of crap.  They have over 360 other days in the year to go shopping and to purchase gifts.  Why wait to the last two days?  Well...cause you are a dumb ass.  Yet being a dumbass does not give you the right to yell at the innocent employee at whatever store you are shopping at because the popular toy is out of stock and your little girl needs that toy.  You should have thought about that before the last two days before Christmas.  Please people, don't punish others because you can't be a responsible adult and do things in a timely matter.  It's amazing that during the remaining 363 days of the year you are not a responsible adult and ignore your family and then all of the sudden when it comes Christmas time you need to be a parent.  Really, gifts are just gifts.  If you really want to give your kids something special, pay attention to them during the rest of the year.  Oh, and stop being rude, hurtful and just plain disrespectful to others during this happy time of year.  Eat your own shit and get over it.  You missed the deadline and that's your problem.

Honesty Is Not Always The Best Thing

People are always saying that telling the truth is the best thing that you can do.  They say that telling the truth keeps you out of trouble.  Well I don't agree with that.  It seems that people are always hiding things and keeping things back.  When someone asks "how was your day?" and you respond in anyway but "great" then you are perceived as negative.  Or how about when asked your opinion and you give it honestly, people get their feelings hurt.  Really...everybody is entitled to an opinion and just because that opinion doesn't jive with yours does not mean that the person with the opinion is bad or negative.  It's just a different opinion.  However it seems that most people would rather bend the "truth" so that they can avoid confrontation or keep from being considered negative.  If we as people are saying to tell the truth, then be prepared to hear and accept the truth.  If you know that the person you are talking to is openly honest and you don't want to hear it, then tell them to lie.  But don't get hurt when the truth is said and it hurts because you just don't say it yourself.



Leave Them Anywhere But Here

This one is for all of the parents out there that have kids under the age of 5.

Eating out can be a fun and adventurous time for you.  It is a time to get out of the house, away from cleaning up after kids and a time to relax.  This being said, if you want to eat out with your kids feel free to do so.  However...let me make myself clear on this.  There are places to take your little shit head kids and places not to.  The places to take little kids would include McDonald's, Burger King, Wendy's, Chucky Cheese, or really any other place that has a kid playland and is centered around family dining.  Now let me tell you places not to take kids that are under the age of 5.  To start off with and this will basically sum it all up, anywhere that you have to leave a tip.  Now let me give you some reasons why.  People (meaning adults) like to go out to get away from lots of kids running around, screaming, dumping things over the seats and onto your lap.  Adults enjoy time to talk to each other without having to raise our voices to do so or stop talking to wait for some ignorant parent to realize that everyone in the restaurant is looking at them because their child is being the loudest thing since the space shuttle took off.  Now, if you are a parent that says to yourself that "My kid isn't like that", you're fucking wrong.  Because even if you have a quiet kid, that child hasn't mastered eating yet and will dump half of his food on the floor.  Now you say to yourself "oh the waiter will clean it up" and you are right, however that is not there job to clean up food off of the ground because you don't clean up after your own kid.  But if this is the case, you better fucking tip that waiter/waitress good.  Because the last thing they want to be doing is serving you food and cleaning up more than just the table.  So I guess the moral of this thought is if you haven't already guessed get a babysitter, leave them in the car or just don't go out to a nice restaurant.  After all it was your choice to have little shits, not everybody else's who want to have a nice, quiet and peaceful dinner.

Ted Nugent Has Got It Right - Carry A Gun

I have to voice my opinion on this matter, seeing as it is a very sensitive and pressing issue to many people. Guns are not bad!!  Now on to the reason as to why.  If you haven't heard yet, there was recently a man that went to a local school board meeting in Florida, draw a gun and fired it in the meeting.  The end of the story is the guy is dead and ended up taking his own life, but not before firing off about 8 rounds.  Luckily nobody else was hurt in the firing of his shots.  (How that is has to be some sort of miracle seeing as shots were fired only 8 feet away from the intended target.)  The gentleman (who I won't name but refer to as The Idiot) was tried and convicted of aggravated stalking, shooting or throwing a missile into a building or vehicle and obstructing justice back in 1999.  He was sentenced to 5 years in Florida prison.  Now to receive this penalty in Florida you have to be convicted of a felony.  As many people know, convicted felons are not allowed to own or carry guns.  So The Idiot that shot up the school board meeting was not a concealed weapons permit holder and had a gun that was not registered to him.  Now, lets talk about all the people who are against guns and say that there should be tighter regulations on them.  If they succeed with tightening up gun laws, what is going to stop more idiots like him from getting guns?...Not a Damn Thing.  It is only going to hurt those people that buy guns legally and go through proper channels to do so.  Now lets just think about the school board room when The Idiot drew a gun and started making threats.  If anybody in that room would have been a concealed weapons permit holder and had their weapon on them, The Idiot would not have even had the chance to fire a single shot.  Schools around the country are trying to ban guns on school campus's allowing situations such as this to happen.  Students/people that don't have a registered gun yet have obtained one somehow run ramped on campus's shooting others  If schools ban guns, that makes it so that those that conceal legally can't do a fucking thing about it.  So to all of you that think that guns are bad and they should be banned, well fuck you.  I hope that one day you find yourself in a similar situation and have a moment to reflect back at your opinions and say to yourself "Damn, I should have got a concealed weapons permit so I could defend myself".

1 Step Forward, 10 Steps Backward

So reading the Declaration of Independence and the Bill of Rights, it's amazing how great the writings are in each.  Looking back in time to the era that they were written, we would probably say that those times were very primitive.  I'm talking about the way we communicated.  Everything had to be written down on a paper, rolled up in some fancy way and sealed, then sent with some guy on a horse or on a boat to cross the ocean.  Yup, the true definition of snail mail.  Over the past 150 years (more so in the past 20 years) technology has changed so much that so called snail mail is basically extinct aside from the damn people trying to send us all those coupons and junk mail that only the sad and lonely read.  With new technology like email, digital scans and mobile phones it's so much easier to communicate with anybody regardless of where they are in the world.  So with such great advancements in the world with communication, it seems that those that use these new forms of communication have become less and less smart.  The people that make them, sure as hell are smart, but those that use them are dumb as bricks.  Let me give you an example.  LOL or Laughing out Loud.  Let's tear this apart for a moment.  First: is there any other real way of "laughing" besides out loud?  If it's under your breath then it would be chuckling or giggling.  So when you laugh, it would be out loud.  Why can't we just say "I'm laughing"?  Makes much more sense.  Yet there is another abbreviation that is ALOL, Actually Laughing Out Loud.  As if saying LOL wasn't bad enough we have to say that we are actually doing it.  OMG, or Oh My God, do we really write like this now?  How pathetic is that. There are millions of pages on the internet that have texting abbreviations.  Why are people spending time to actually make these pages.  Why the hell are they not putting on the pages titled Texting Abbreviations something like "Get a fucking life and write like a real person".  Most of these abbreviations started with texting on cell phones.  Ok, back when there were plans for cell phone texting that had 200 messages a month then maybe I could see using abbreviations.  But why not just call the person and get out those 20 messages in 2 minutes of personal communication.  But now days when everybody has unlimited text messaging, can we please go back to writing for real.  Stop using stupid abbreviations and just say oh my god, I'll be right back instead of OMG, BRB.  Let's start giving the due respect back to our countries founding father's and at least make an effort to communicate properly.  After all, our freedom was written on paper signed and sent back to England which was received months later.  If freedom can take time, then writing someone a text can take a few seconds more and write the damn words out!

So This is Parenting

From all of the libraries in the world that offer famous authors, writers and scribes who have written wonderful plays, stories and whatever else... this is not one of those masterpieces.  This is going to be the thoughts that happen to cross my mind.  Some of the stuff that you may read may be the stuff that you want to say, that you have always thought about saying and just don't have the balls to do so.  So in those cases, let me help you and I'll just say it for you.  Oh, and if you're offended by profanity, then don't read this.  There is a thing called freedom of speech and I love to take full advantage of that.

Now on to the stuff that people actually care about.  And by caring I mean pretending to want to care, yet pawning it off on someone else hoping that they will do the dirty work for them.  Why is it that parents are afraid in this day and age to actually discipline their kids.  Take a look around parents, all of the little shit heads running around that are getting in trouble, stealing and dressing like they are cross dressing freaks.... IS YOUR FUCKING FAULT.  Let me give you an example.  When was the last time that you sat down with your kids and had a talk to them about right and wrong.  What video games should you be playing at what age and what drugs are and what they do to you.  It just seems like you would rather complain to the City Counsel, or go to the State Legislature and tell them that they should just ban the stuff.  Really people...fucking teach your kids.  Oh and don't forget, discipline them if they do not do what they are supposed to.  Take their cell phone away, take their XBox or Playstation away and enforce the punishment.  Stop trying to pawn things off on everybody else and take responsibility for your own offspring.  The next time that I see you (the parent) out with your kid and that kid is misbehaving, it's not the kid that I will be yelling at it will be you.  So do your job that you had sex for and be a fucking parent.  After all, these are your kids...
